Two contrasting looks from the J. Crew March catalog that I really like. Though they’re very different, they are both masculine, rugged and refined at the same time. 


If it weren’t for those outrageously horrifying Lacoste rainboots, this would be a sweet look. Plaid vest, check. Chunky-ass fall sweater, check. Murderer leather gloves, check. Dark denim, always.

The ever popular “prep with a twist” look. A top-notch effort at it, too. The upper-body is classic prep: tipped v-neck sweater, repp tie, blue shirt, navy blazer. The bottom half more rugged and country. Dark wash denim, tough-looking black leather shoes and a perfect size tan leather bag. Country prep is a look I could get behind.
